Creatif Solutions Research Laboratory (CSRL) is a division of the Creatif Solutions company where talented researchers and consultants invest their time and efforts into hi-tech cutting-edge research projects. Currently we work on the projects involving the following topics: - Image processing
- Optical design
- Operations research
Our research and development experience allows pursuing complex innovative projects. Researchers at Creatif Solutions are participating in collaborative projects with Canadian and American universities, hospitals and private companies. Among others, they are involved in projects for medical applications, such as development of algorithms and software for processing x-ray, computed tomography (CT), and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images of patients treated for cancer. In addition to extensive use of image processing techniques that allow improving image quality, reducing noise, highlighting objects of interest, combining images produced by various types of medical hardware to create 2D or 3D maps of the patient and register any changes in the patient’s organ geometry, software developed in Creatif Solutions features an ergonomic graphical user interface and includes features such as the possibility to work with databases and external data formats, convenient visualization tools, efficient and robust computations.

Creatif Solutions was sub-contracted by Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc. to work on the optical design of LED Incapacitator. The LED Incapacitator is a novel non-lethal weapon. When officers shine the flashlight-like device in a person's eyes, high-intensity LEDs, pulsating at varying rates and different colors, will make the suspect temporarily disoriented and dizzy. The device was included in the best inventions of the year by TIME Magazine.

Creatif Solutions developed the LPG Simulator software for calculation of the spectra depending on the optical fiber parameters. The LPG software includes friendly graphical user interface and visualization capabilities. The advanced high-performance algorithms were utilized to speed up the computations. The software is used by Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc. to design photonic devices based on the optical fibers.
